Services We Provide
Routine exams and cleanings
We believe in the importance of regular preventative care for your oral and overall health.  Routine
exams, including diagnostic x-rays once a year, allow us to track any changes in your dental condition
and diagnose any treatment needed.  Professional teeth cleanings and oral hygiene instruction are an
important part of maintaining the health and beauty of your smile.
Composite Restorations
New restorative materials are made from tooth-colored, metal-free composite.  These materials allow
us to restore your teeth to a healthy, natural appearance.
Dr. Hadley is able to use Cerec CAD CAM
to fabricate the most durable composite restoration that can be offered.
Crowns
We offer different types of crowns based on the needs and
desires of the patient.  A full gold crown (FGC) is made
entirely of gold and other high noble metals.  FGCs are
typically prescribed for molars that will not be visible when
smiling.  A porcelain-fused-to-gold (PFG) has a gold substrate
topped with  porcelain.  PFGs are virtually as durable as
FGCs, but look more natural.  An all-ceramic crown contains
no metal and looks just like natural teeth.  It may be done on
the anterior (front) teeth for a more aesthetic appearance.

Dr. Hadley has implemented the latest and best technology
into his dental practice.  Specifically, Dr. Hadley uses CAD
CAM to fabricate inlays, onlays, and crowns in just one visit.
Whitening Treatments
Coffee, tea,  carbonated beverages, smoking, red wine, age,
even foods like berries or tomato sauce.  All these things can
stain or discolor your teeth.   If you'd like to brighten your smile,
we provide a variety of whitening services.
For an instant result, we offer Sapphire in-office one-hour
whitening treatments.  After painting a protective coating on
your gums, we coat your teeth with a whitening solution and sit
you under a special light for about one hour.  This treatment
offers a dramatic change--up to 10 shades lighter--in very little
time.
If you prefer an at-home treatment, we offer custom whitening
trays.  We take impressions of your mouth and make custom-fit
trays that you can use at home.  The whitening solution
included with the trays is stronger than you can get off the shelf,
and the custom fit is less messy than the over-the-
counter products.  You can use them regularly until you reach
your desired shade, then get them out again whenever you
need a little touch up.
Periodontal Scaling
Periodontitis (gum disease) causes pockets to form below
the gum line that hold bacteria.  These bacteria can destroy
bone tissue, leading to tooth loss.  For patients with mild gum
disease, also known as gingivitis, to moderate periodontitis,
we perform a procedure called scaling and root planing.
After administering a local anesthetic, we clean below the
gum line, removing the bacteria and built-up plaque and
tartar.
For patients with more severe cases of periodontitis, we
may offer a referral to a periodontist, a specialist for the
treatment of periodontal disease.
Pain-free Veneers
Nobody's perfect.  But your smile can be.  Lumineers, contact-lens
thin porcelain veneers, can correct smile imperfections like gaps,
slight crowding, and chipped teeth.  Because these veneers are
bonded straight to your enamel, most cases require no shots and
little to no prep work.  We just take an impression of your teeth and
send it off to the lab for your custom veneers.
Implant Restoration
One of the newest techniques for replacing missing teeth is a dental implant.  This permanent
procedure involves surgical placement of the implant in the bony tissue, then covering it with a
crown.  Unlike a bridge, the implant procedure does not involve treatment to the abutting teeth, and
the final restoration looks and feels like a natural tooth.
Bite Splint Therapy
Many people suffer from nighttime bruxism, or grinding their teeth.  In addition to damaging the
chewing surfaces of the teeth, this condition can also cause jaw pain from the repeated and
prolonged clenching of the jaw muscles.  To alleviate bruxism, we offer the NTI, a bite splint that
covers only the anterior teeth to prevent you from clenching and grinding.
NTI splints may also be used to alleviate migraine and headache pain.  A small daytime splint relieves
pressure but allows you to talk, and the larger nighttime splint protects you while you sleep.
Endodontics & Oral Surgery
Endodontic therapy, also known as root canal treatment, is prescribed when the pulp of a tooth is
infected and dying.  This procedure involves drilling through the outer layers of tooth, called enamel
and dentin, then removing the pulp and replacing it with a material called gutta percha.  Sometimes
the canals must first be treated with a solution to kill any bacteria before the gutta percha is inserted.
A temporary filling is placed in the tooth until a permanent restoration can be done.
Whenver possible, our goal is to save your teeth.  However, sometimes a tooth must be removed.  Our
office provides simple and surgical extractions.  This includes extractions of erupted third molars
(wisdom teeth), multiple extractions as for dentures, or extraction of one or two teeth.  For patients
needing intravenous sedation, we provide a referral to an oral surgeon.
Perio Protect
Perio Trays from Perio Protect are FDA-approved custom trays
that treat periodontal disease.  The trays hold medication in the
periodontal pocket to kill the bacteria which cause the disease.
They can be used for long-term management of periodontal
disease, and can also reduce the need for repeated scaling and
root planing and periodontal surgery.
Dr. Hadley is certified in the
Perio Protect Method to treat periodontal disease.
